The mission of the Wayne County Emergency Communications Division is to provide full service emergency communications and non-emergency support in an efficient and professional manner while being responsive to the public and the agencies we serve. An emergency is any serious medical problem (chest pain, seizure, bleeding), any type of fire (business, car, building), or any life-threatening situation (fights, person with weapons, vehicle accident with injuries, etc.).
